About us
Pemberton Camp School offers a wonderful residential camping experience for your group. The camp school forms part of the Department of Education and Training Network of Camp Schools in Western Australia and operates within their guidelines.
We are situated in the heart of the Karri forest located next to the Pemberton Pool and within walking distance of town. There are many attractions available locally or in the surrounding areas. We can arrange all bookings for local attractions.
Our camp provides a welcoming warm touch, provides adventure, is fun, and safe. Values based activities underpin the entire camping process and all camp programs. We can design programs to suit your needs and budget, plus book all local attractions except those enroute to the camp school. We offer activities that are inclusive of the Eight Learning Areas based on the philosophy outlined in the Curriculum Frameworks and the Outcomes in the Standards Framework.
Accommodation
We have 59 beds.The camp school provides a communal, fully catered living environment away from the student’s home and provides new experiences through which student’s develop:

- Skills Interpersonal Skills
- Self esteem
What does Pemberton Camp School offer?
- One Stop Booking Service For any bookings made by the camp school we .provide for ‘schools’ on completion of your stay, one invoice covering accommodation, meals and all activities and excursions conducted both on and off site. All Camp School Meals and Accommodation is GST Free.
- Mark Hudson, a qualified teacher, manages Pemberton Camp School and can design and deliver or assist in delivering your program to your students.
- Leadership Programs for Years 6 -12
- Year 7 programs – the main user group of the camp school.
- Specific year group and subject camps.
- Programs include team building, initiative, self-esteem and trust activities, plus environmental education and outdoor education activities.
- Canoeing, raft making, mountain biking.
- Qualified in First Aid and Bronze Medallion qualifications.
