Yeagarup Lake and Dunal System
40 minutes from camp, the lake is one of a series with underground seepage to the coast. The dunes are ‘moving’ sand-hill’s gradually creeping inland. A two kilometre walk from the lake along a sandy track brings you to the dunes.
Kite Flying as a team activity is available, depends on wind conditions. No Charge if using camp school kites. A range of kites can be built by each student, prices for this activity range from $4.00 to $8.00 per kite. Activity includes history of kites, building and flying the kites. The lake is suitable for a bush picnic and in summer a refreshing swim.
Allow three weeks for kite ordering.
