Pioneer Museum, Karri Forest Discovery Centre and Tourist Centre

A five minute walk from the camp school, and located in the original school. This museum contains many interesting photos and items from early settlement. The museum also contains a ‘touch display’. The Karri Discovery Centre is an eco-museum showing the wonders of the Karri Forest. It contains wall size photographs, a glimpse of the forest creature’s homes, a walk through the canopy and finishes with an 8 minute audio-visual show. A worthwhile visit. Souvenirs can also be purchased.
